To be the first to grab it, make sure you join our special Kiosk mailing list here.

Getting Ready for the Kiosk? Here’s what you may need

kindy manager kiosk

The Kindy Manager Kiosk has now been completed and is now in its final testing phases, which is why you have a few things to plan for.

When purchasing a tablet to run the Kiosk, you will need it to be 9.7 inches or above with 32 Gb of memory, 2 GB RAM and 1.2 GHz processor. Meeting all of these requirements are the Samsung Tab A or above and the iPad 4 or above.

We would also recommend that you find a way to secure your tablet to the front desk where parents can easily access it. Multiple Kiosks can be used, and each one should have access to the internet.

Have a great week!

Have you set up your PRODA?

Hello and Happy New Year again from the Kindy Manager team!
We wanted to grab this chance to remind you to set up your Provider Digital Access or PRODA account from the Department of Human Services website by going to https://proda.humanservices.gov.au/pia/pages/public/registration/account/createAccount.jsf
As you probably already know, PRODA is a means to identify individuals who will be accessing the new CCS system, which is similar to how healthcare professionals (doctors, dentists, chemists, etc…) are identified. Therefore, we just wanted to remind you to set it up for all your staff members who will be accessing the system.
If you need any help setting up your PRODA, you can always contact the Department of Human Services (not your software provider).
Have a great week,
Kindy Manager

Jobs for Families -2-

Jobs for Families
July 2018

As we all know on July 2nd 2018 the new Child Care Integrated Technology System (CCITS) will take over from CCMS.  This doesn’t mean that the CCMS system will fall off the edge of the plant at midnight July 1.  You will still need to access CCMS for a further 28 days for any changes and after that it will still be available for viewing history.
Kindy Manager currently has two toolbars – the CCMS system (Orange) and all local Centre functions (Blue).  A third toolbar is being developed for the new CCITS system.  Shortly after the CCITS system takes over users will be given the option to display or hide the old CCMS toolbar.  This simple approach will allow users to have access to both systems from within the current Kindy Manager.
What is PRODA?
Provider Digital Access (PRODA) is an online authentication system used to securely access government online services.
All users of the new CCS system will need to create their own unique PRODA account.
Use the link below to find out more.
